What motivated me to stick to Scope Plus and to Seema Malhotra was her dedication. A dedication that was not confined to her work alone, but to her family as well. She has a great ability to convince and remind family, friends and the local community of their social obligation. This leads to the projects being not only Scope Plus, but belonging to the whole community.

I am thankful for the opportunity I have been given in this jail by Scope Plus in appointing me as a computer instructor. Now I feel much more confident and am free from the inferiority complex I used to have. With this new opportunity I think my whole life will change as it has given me the confidence to build a career after leaving this place. I am happy in this job.

Please allow me to express my most sincere gratitude for sending your children to our Holiday Kids Party at the American Embassy. It was a real privilege and pleasure to be with them – they were so happy, hard-working and cooperative. It was a memorable sight as children of different schools and backgrounds sat down to decorate cookies, paint t-shirts, get little tattoos and jump on the bouncy castle.
Thank you very much for sending some of your best teachers along – Deepa, Rupa and Ruby. The young British volunteer that came along was just outstanding. It is reassuring to see young and committed teachers like yours working in education.

For the past 2 years I have been in custody and deeply regret my past behaviour. I wish to live a normal, descent and respectable life. Once I’m free from the jail, I mean to start working with determination and hard work and take care of my family.

Today Scope Plus Centre has completed 5 years. In that time it has given us the opportunity to become computer literate in Hindi. The biggest advantage here is that even those who have education less than 10th standard are also availing this opportunity. This is a great effort for the betterment of our society.
I request scope plus to open many more such centres in the village, to enable more people to become computer literate. Thank you.

Om Prakash
Scope Plus

18.8.2002 I joined Scope. At that time I didn’t know any thing, I had little education and no work experience. Despite all this Scope Plus gave me an opportunity to work. After working with Scope Plus I have the confidence to go anywhere and work. It is because of Seema madam that I am at this level. Seema madam is very affectionate and caring. Even at the post of Director she treats us like a friend. Thanks.

Rajni Sharma
